One of the biggest problems in CRMs is that they don’t sync with LinkedIn messages, which is weird because after email it’s probably one of the most used B2B communication channels 🤔
There are some third-party integrations like Surf (ex-Leadjet), but it’s not native to the CRMs themselves to plug directly into LinkedIn 🔌
So which LinkedIn CRMs actually do sync LinkedIn messages? 👇
2 CRMs that Syncs LinkedIn Messages Automatically (TL;DR) | ||
|---|---|---|
Most CRMs still don’t sync LinkedIn messages natively… which is crazy for a top B2B channel. 💬 LinkedIn is one of the most used B2B communication channels after email. 🔌 Most CRMs rely on third-party tools instead of native LinkedIn message sync. 🧊 Breakcold is the most complete AI-native CRM for LinkedIn power users.
🐙 Octopus CRM focuses heavily on LinkedIn automation.
⚠️ Most other tools either don’t sync LinkedIn natively or aren’t real CRMs. 🚀 If LinkedIn is central to your B2B sales strategy, choosing a CRM with native LinkedIn sync is non-negotiable. | ||
CRM #1: Breakcold - The AI Native CRM for LinkedIn Power Users
Breakcold is a sales CRM famous among LinkedIn power users.
Pros
Compared to LinkedIn inbox softwares like Trykondo for example, Breakcold is a true CRM that also syncs LinkedIn messages.
Messages are auto-synced with B2B contacts, so you don’t have to do any manual CRM data entry.
When it comes to LinkedIn, you also have:
LinkedIn Unified Inbox: on top of the auto-sync of messages, you can also chat on LinkedIn with your CRM contacts directly from Breakcold.
Enrichment of contact info with LinkedIn URL: Breakcold is capable of enriching some contact information just from a LinkedIn URL to complete your CRM without you having to copy-paste data.
Easy creation of contacts: from the LinkedIn inbox or directly from LinkedIn, you can add and update leads inside Breakcold.
Engagement: you can like and comment on the posts of your B2B contacts from Breakcold.
All the LinkedIn-related data sync helps build a single source of truth to update leads using AI super easily, as Breakcold is AI native.

Cons
Breakcold is very focused on NOT automating your LinkedIn account to respect LinkedIn’s policy and protect your account 🔒
Therefore, some expected features like knowing if you’re connected with someone or not, sending invites, and other related automated actions are not supported, in order to keep your account safe ⚠️
The philosophy is simple: protect your LinkedIn account first, even if that means limiting certain automation features 🚫
CRM #2: Octopus CRM - The LinkedIn automation software & CRM
Octopus CRM is a LinkedIn only focused tool.
Unlike Breakcold, it specializes on LinkedIn features which can be a good and a bad thing.

Pros
Octopus CRM is more than a CRM, it’s a fully-fledged LinkedIn software 🚀
You can:
automate LinkedIn invites, profile views, and messages
sync LinkedIn conversations and Sales Navigator ones inside the software
also sync LinkedIn Recruiter Lite conversations
Pricing is also very cheap and starts at $9.99/mo up to $39.99/mo on the unlimited plan 💸
For a LinkedIn-heavy workflow, it’s clearly positioned as an automation-first tool rather than a traditional CRM 🤖
Cons
Here are the cons of Octopus CRM ⚠️
What I think is the most obvious is that Octopus is NOT really a CRM, even though it calls itself “Octopus CRM.”
What I mean by that is that it’s a LinkedIn CRM, but not a true CRM in the sense that 80% of its features are LinkedIn automation ones and less than 10% are actually related to CRM. You don’t have real CRM workflows involving custom objects or advanced custom fields, etc.
So although it’s a CRM that syncs LinkedIn messages, it’s more like a personal connection manager than a true sales CRM powerhouse.
Other than that, it’s a strong and viable option, which is why I put it on this list 🤝📊
Are there any other viable alternatives to Breakcold & Octopus CRM mentioned in this article?
Not really.
Other options are either not CRMs at all, think Kondo or Leaddelta even though they claim to be one 🤷♂️, or they simply don’t have any LinkedIn features at all, think Attio or Pipedrive.
Folk could have been in this top, but many users reported that the sync with LinkedIn messages is not native, involves extra clicks, and isn’t fully reliable 📉. So in practice, it doesn’t really solve the core problem 💬.
